How we learn to type

Keep your hands covered.

To learn to Touch Type, you must have your hands covered because you are training your muscle memory rather than your visual memory. If your hands are not covered, it takes your muscle memory longer to learn the skill needed to Touch Type. Even if you think you are not looking, our experience over the last twelve years shows, that with your hands covered you will become a proper Touch Typist in shorter time.

All our keyboards have the letters obscured and students hands are covered.

All our teachers are Touch Typists, because they need to know where the keys are even when the letters are blank.
